Wisam Sharieff was born on August 27, 1981 in United States. Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AQL (Advocating Quranic Literacy), an organisation that assists people who have trouble reading in better comprehending the Quran. In addition to that, he teaches at Al Maghrib Institute, where he is the head of the innovative Quran Revolution programme. This programme is a one-of-a-kind educational method that is also geared toward assisting others in comprehending the text.
He started his Islamic education at the Institute of Islamic Education (IIE) in Elgin, Illinois.
