Neil Horan was born on April 22, 1947 in County Kerry, Ireland. A laicized priest who was well-known for spreading his views in public forums that the end of the world was very close at hand. In 2009, when competing on the reality TV show Britain’s Got Talent, he became famous for his performance of a soft jig, which earned him the nickname “The Dancing Priest.”

In 1973, he was given the ordination to become a priest, and he later published the book “A Glorious New World Very Soon to Come,” in which he discussed his apocalyptic beliefs. During the British Grand Prix in 2003, he ran out onto the circuit while carrying a banner that read, “Read the Bible. The Bible is always right.” He was the second child out of a total of thirteen.
