About
Mike Webb was born on September 21, 1956 in England. Early in his life, he became well-known for his musical performances on programmes broadcast on the Australian NWS-9 channel in the 1970s such as Adelaide Tonight and Hey Hey It’s Saturday. Later in his life, he joined the Apostolic Church Australia as a cleric located in South Australia.
In 1971, he and his brother, the musician Keith Webb, who was also one of his musical collaborators, appeared on an Australian television talent competition called New Faces. Webb became a Christian during the time when he was doing research for a rock opera based on the writings of Nostradamus, which he and his brother intended to compose together. After being married in 1976, he and his wife Christine (Chrys) started a family by having three children: a daughter named Lauren (who was born in 1979), and two sons named Marc and Luke (born in 1980 and 1985, respectively).
