Alma Bridwell White was born on June 16, 1862 in Kentucky. She died on Jun 26, 1946 (age 84). the first female to be ordained as a bishop in the United States, she established the Pillar of Fire Church in 1918.
She received her education from the Millersburg Female College, which is located near Millersburg. She was a strong supporter of the KKK and used her church as a platform to advance antisemitism, white supremacy, and intolerance of specific immigrant groups. In addition, she promoted these ideas. She and her husband, Kent White, are the parents of two sons.
